Privacy Policy
Short version: no account, no tracking of you personally, and audited URLs are not stored.
What we collect
AnswerRank has no sign-up, no login and no user accounts. You can use the entire tool without telling us who you are.
When you run an audit, the URL you submit is sent to our server so the page can be fetched and analysed. That URL is processed in memory to produce your report and is not written to a database. Closing the tab discards the result — we cannot retrieve a past report for you, because we never kept it.
What our server logs
Like any web host, our hosting provider records standard request logs: IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent and response status. These exist for security and to diagnose faults, are not linked to any identity, and are rotated automatically by the host.
Third parties
- Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which processes request data as described above under its own privacy terms.
- Language model provider. Fix suggestions and the "does AI know your site" check are generated by sending page metadata (title, headings, a short text excerpt and the domain) to a third-party language model API. Only that excerpt is sent — never anything you typed beyond the URL.
- The site you audit. Our server fetches that URL directly. The site owner's logs will show a request from our server, not from you.
Cookies
AnswerRank sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Your theme preference (day or night) is kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it between visits. That value never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Analytics and advertising
The site does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated before any such script is added, and the change will be reflected in the date at the top.
Your rights
Because we hold no account data and store no audit history, there is generally nothing personal to export or delete. If you have emailed us, that correspondence sits in an ordinary mailbox; write to suryapriya.s@finstein.ai and ask, and it will be deleted.
Children
This is a technical tool for website owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
Any material change to this policy will be published here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
